The Roots

What is it that fuels each and every one of us in this world? For me, it is family and friends but most importantly; my love for Jesus. After several major things happened, I spent some time thinking about how short life can be.  My sister survived a major stroke. My best friend lost her daughter unexpectedly. My cousin who was like a sister to me, suddenly passed away. My mother became a miracle after surviving a heart procedure that had serious complications. And most recently, I lost one of my most precious friends to heart disease.  Throughout all of this, our family was fighting a 20 year battle with drug addiction.  It seemed like the hits just kept coming!  I decided I really want to make time to "do the things!" before it's too late.   I enjoy writing about my passions, my crazy life, what interests me, what interests other people and sharing it with others. My hope is with each passing day, Bare Feet and Bare Soul will gain more followers and convince more of you to boldly take that first step and do whatever it is you've been dreaming of doing.  You can!
